Short Story of Mr. Peterson's illness and death

    As told by Charles Peterson

Grandad was repairing the roof of the house they were living in and got pneumonia and died. He got to the other side and talked to some people (two men) on the other side and he told them he couldn't go now, his wife was pregnant and he had to get the roof fixed before she has the baby. He was told that he could go back, but he would only be able to stay until he fixed the roof. He fixed the roof and had a relapse of pneumonia and died.
Story as told by Charles Peterson.
